ZiggyD , a new artist in the soca world will stop at nothing in getting his voice heard to all soca lovers everywhere. Inspired by God he believes nothing is impossible so dreams can become a reality.

Once a singer in the band Karma in 2005 singing soca and reggae for almost a year he has toured with them to Canada and America in the short space of time gaining experience on the stage every time there was a show both locally and internationally.
Ziggy however left the band shortly before a year to continue his studies which would have complicated his band commitment.

As a child growing up Ziggy was always a lover of soca and calypso music as the energy of the sound filled his heart making him understand a masquerader’s passion for the love of mas. His ears always glued to the radio always had a passion for the arts listening to the foundation music and those present and into the future. ‘’A wise man said you can never know your future if you don’t know your foundation’’, someone said to him.
He was always writing little notes and ideas as it came to him but it was only in late 2006 he met up with Junior ‘Ibo’ Joseph he decided give it a go. An appointment was made for summer 2007 a track was produced and ‘’Splash Everything Wet ‘’ was released for carnival 2008. Ziggy not expecting much out of the first track surprisingly got some airplay even interviews at various radio stations and an interview on roll call on Synergy Tv. A good start for him he is back in the studio with Ibo working on his second track for 2009.

As for ZiggyD he says his journey has now began and there is always something to learnt. We must learn to follow before we can lead he says. Ziggy hopes to promote the culture of Trinidad and Tobago with his contribution both locally and globally.
